I so love reading and drooling over the photos and descriptions of cupcakes.
My 19 year old nephew very kindly spent a few hours in the kitchen on New Years Eve and made butter cupcakes with green butter icing and 2011 toppers made out of white chocolate, unfortunately my 3 year old grandson thought they were all for him and I didn't get a chance to take a photo of them.
Today I jump on the net and as I always love to go and read the news and see what is happening in the world I came across this delightful article in Yahoo7 Food about how this woman has started taking cupcake lessons.

It did then start to cross my mind as to how excited she made it all seem, as if it was a new art form that had just been discovered.
I remember wonderful days spent with my Grandmother and Mother as a young girl learning how to cook and bake and decorate because those were the things you did.
It is almost as if a lost art of baking has been missed by some generations which is a shame but it's blogs like yours and articles like the one I just read that is bringing it all back to the forefront again.
Thanks for sharing your love of cooking with everyone who views your blog.
