Cupcakes Take The Cake is happy to announce our two new cupcake correspondents, Ryan Hatt and Elise Wallace. They are cupcake lovers like us who also have wonderful blogs, Ryan's Baking Blog and Cupcake Activist, respectively. I met Ryan at the Martha Stewart show bake in November, and I met Elise at the LA Cupcake Challenge last February. They are a welcome addition to the CTTC team as there will more cupcake news, recipes and reviews in 2011!
Ryan Hatt is a young, amateur baker from Philadelphia, PA. He has a love of cupcakes, pugs, and all things sweet. He spends most of his free time blogging and baking for his food blog, Ryansbakingblog.com, traveling to different bakeries, and reading other food blogs.
Elise Wallace is the founder and chief editor for CupcakeActivist.com, one of the foremost cupcake websites in the U.S. Elise is a lover of all things sweet, but has always had a deeper affinity for cupcakes. Because of cupcakes,she found her new calling in life, reviewing the latest recipes, bake shops, trends, and all other things cupcake-related. Her website has brought us reviews from local Orange County shops, to cupcakes from across the country, and even chronicles her search for cupcakes in places as far off as Rome, Italy. Elise has been a judge at many popular cupcake competitions such as the LA Cupcake Challenge, Cupcake Camp OC, Cupcake Camp IE, and the Orange County Fair's first cupcake competition.
