4 cupcakes to benefit Japan tsunami and earthquake relief funds

Several cupcake bakeries are doing fundraisers for relief for Japan in the wake of the recent earthquake and tsunami. If you're doing something, leave it in the comments (you can always reach us at cupcakestakethecake at gmail.com but as always, we cannot post everything that comes our way though will try to retweet or post about Japan-themed charity cupcakes) and I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting something someone emailed so I will do one more followup post this week. Georgetown Cupcake raised $7,000 for the Red Cross with red velvet cupcake sales, and Cupcake Central in Australia has been selling limited edition "Pray for Japan" cupcakes to raise money.

Inspired by the beautiful Japanese cherry tree, The Limited Edition Cherry Blossom cupcake supports the Japanese Red Cross whilst delivering you the tastiest cupcake experience.

Freshly baked each morning, the blushing vanilla cherry buttercream icing and delicate vanilla sponge make a super scrumptious flavour. Both light and tasty it’s the ultimate afternoon treat, the cutest present for a friend but most of all an easy way to donate to the Japanese Red Cross.

Presented in a single flavour LOLAS box, each cupcake is priced at £5 with 100% being donated to the cause.

Available at LOLA’s Selfridges, Topshop, Mayfair and online, ordering couldn’t be easier.
