It's almost St.Patrick's Day and what could be a better than Kissing the Blarney Stone on a cupcake. We've been told you are supposed to kiss the Blarney Stone while hanging upside down, but, through trial and error, we have found that eating them is best done upright! We made the Blarney Stones out of Breakfast Treat cookies dipped in melted frosting. The shamrocks are crafted from spearmint leaves, the green sugared jelly candies. They have a nice minty flavor that goes well with the chocolate mint cupcakes too. The Technique of the Month shows how we roll out sugared jelly candies to create shapes. In this month's Candy corner you'll see other sugared jelly candies that can be rolled and shaped for your cupcake designs.
