In case you haven't heard, we' having a cupcake picnic this Saturday in Central Park. We have partnered with Google Places to add more fun.
Google and Cupcakes Take the Cake announce the Cupcake Picnic Challenge! Deadline Friday, June 17!
What's better than delicious cupcakes? Delicious FREE cupcakes, of course! That's why Cupcakes Take the Cake is teaming up with Google Places, the new personalized local recommendation engine powered by the reviews of users and their friends! Google wants to give you the opportunity to win a $50 gift card to Crumbs Bake Shop, just for doing what you already do: sharing your opinions on the best cupcakes in New York City. Here’s how it works:
1. Go to Google.com/Places and select “Start Rating” (you’ll need to create a Google account if you haven’t already).
2. Fill out this form by 10pm on Friday, June 17th: http://goo.gl/sVQtN.
3. Review as many New York City bakeries (especially cupcake shops!) as you like by 10pm on Friday, June 17th. Each review you write will be judged as a new entry.
4. We’ll go through all the reviews you write during the contest period and give them points. The entrant with the highest number of points will win a $50 gift card to Crumbs Bake Shop!
5. The winner will be notified via email and may collect their gift card on Saturday, June 18 at the Cupcake Picnic at Central Park!
Even if you don't win the contest, there will be lots of fun to be had with Google Places at the Cupcake Picnic (cupcakes, reviewing and swag!)! We're looking forward to seeing all of you in Central Park on Saturday!
