Boston bakeries show their team spirit for the Bruins in the Stanley Cup!

Sometimes I feel like I should get a t-shirt saying "Everything I know about sports I learned from my cupcake blog." Because it's kindof true. Sorry, sports fans, I don't really follow any sports, but I do know when things like the Stanley Cup are happening, because of cupcakes and the ways they are so easy to make to support a team, like the Boston Bruins. Boston bakeries and cupcake makers are coming out to show their team spirit! If we missed your Bruins cupcakes, leave a comment or email us at cupcakestakethecake at gmail.com with "Bruins" in the subject and your photos or a link to them.

And Kickass Cupcakes in Somerville, Massachusetts, went so far as to send their cupcakes all the way to Vancouver, where the final game of the Stanley Cup will be played tonight! Via their Facebook page:

They wrote on Facebook:

So we sent our lucky Bruins cupcakes to the Garden yesterday...not sure if they made the flight to Vancouver, but we BELIEVE the Bruins are going to win tonight!!!!!!!

And via West Roxbury Patch:

You can thank the Boston Bruins for more free cupcakes from Sugar Bakery. Sugar Bakery and Sugar Baking Company in Roslindale is giving away free Boston Bruins cupcakes to any child on NHL championship game days. Tonight is Game 7 between the Bruins and the Vancouver Canucks.

Sugar's owner Eric Battite is a diehard Bruins fan, a season ticket holder and was at Game 6 in Boston - and between the two businesses, gave away approximately 300 free cupcakes on game days already.
