I'm so looking forward to my first trip to Hawaii and to meeting cupcake fans and bakers in Honolulu! Below are all the details about our free meetup next Tuesday, January 31st in Honolulu. You are welcome to bring cupcakes if you'd like to, but the event is free. If you know you're attending we'd love it if RSVPed on Facebook (you can also spread the word there). We're going to talk and mingle and eat cupcakes. Questions? Email cupcakestakethecake at gmail.com with "Hawaii" in the subject line. I'll also be posting reports on my cupcake tastings throughout the week. And for those of you who aren't in Hawaii but know someone who is, please pass this news on.

Tuesday, January 31st, 6-9 pm, free Honolulu Cupcakes Take the Cake meetup
At The Greenhouse Innovation Hub, 685 Auahi Street, Kaka‘ako
Love cupcakes? Calling all fans, bakers and makers. Cupcake connoisseur Rachel Kramer Bussel, founding editor of popular cupcake blog, Cupcakes Take the Cake, is in Hawaii and wants to meet you. Join us for a night of cupcake eating, talk-story, trading and tasting as Rachel exposes us to the world of these bite, sized treats.
I'm very excited to be partnering with The Greenhouse Innovation Hub on this project, a coworking and event space. We at Cupcakes Take the Cake are big fans of coworking spaces and networking and community and I think this will be a very special event. (Big thanks to Aaron Landry for the connection too - if you're in Honolulu you should come to this and also come to Aaron's February 1st talk from 6-8 at the address above about Foursquare and "the Future of Geolocation.") Follow HIGreenHouse on Twitter for their latest news.
