All four Georgetown Cupcake locations (Georgetown in Washington, DC, Bethesda, Maryland, SoHo in NYC and Newbury Street in Boston) will be open until 11 p.m. on Thursday, September 6th to celebrate Fashion's Night Out and they are giving out one free cupcake per customer all day! They will also be selling a "Runway Red Velvet" cupcake, which you can select as your free cupcake. How cool is that? In other news, their reality TV show DC Cupcakes on TLC, which is back October 9th at 8 pm ET/PT, is now available on Netflix. Yesterday, I stopped at Georgetown Cupcake SoHo to try their two September special cupcake flavors, caramel apple and banans foster. 2 cupcakes cost $5.99 and they were both very much fall flavor. I liked the caramel-filled caramel apple cupcake better; the bananas foster had very sweet frosting and overall didn't quite do it for me, but the caramel part of the caramel apple (there was caramel inside and drizzled on top) along with the cake had a great flavor.
