Why having a signature cupcake design is good for business

I've never been to Royal Oak, Michigan, but I can pick out Taste Love Cupcakes' cupcakes at a glance. Why? Because they have a mini red cake heart on top, and every time I come across their cupcakes on their Facebook page, I small. It's a small but telling detail, something that, to me, says that they care about their presentation, design, branding, etc. I find it charming and different from other cupcakes. It makes me want to go to Royal Oak just to try this Cupcake Wars winning bakery.
