10 Tips For Cupcake Baking: Read, Prep and Take Notes with Moleskine Journal

 

 I just baked over the weekend and want to recommend some good baking practices.
  1. Read the recipe.  Read it aloud.  Read it to the end.
  2. Take butter out of the refrigerator to soften.
  3. Measure out all ingredients.
  4. Pre-heat oven.
  5. Use a timer.
  6. Have hot soapy dishwater ready to clean as you go.
  7. Put out a cooling rack and make sure oven mitts are quickly accessible.
  8. If you made any adjustments, additions, or substitutions to the recipe, take notes. Moleskine has just released a special dessert journal which includes a baker's glossary, a cake slicing guide, and a measures and conversions table.
  9. Lick the bowl.
  10. Have fun!
