I haven't made cupcakes in a while, which is weird for me, but I finally got into the autumn season with these Apple Ale Cupcakes! I used Redd's Apple Ale in the cake, and chopped apples as well. I'm not really a beer drinker, but I had this apple ale a few weekends ago and was instantly a fan! You could also use your favorite cider instead. I topped them with caramel frosting and caramel drizzle. I'm a lots-of-frosting kind of person, so that and the drizzle were definitely my favorite parts. The cake is great by itself too, but sometimes you just can't beat a drizzly caramel sauce. I found the cutest fall leave sprinkles at Michael's and had to use them!
