The Montreal Cake Show is proud to announce the Second Annual Montreal Cupcake Challenge taking place Saturday, October 19th 3-6 p.m. at Cegep Vanier Sports Complex. All cupcake lovers are invited to come taste and vote for who they think makes Montreal’s BEST cupcake and support the local charities Kids Help Phone and Christmas 4 a Cause. With Montreal’s top cupcake makers showcasing their vision of a Favourite Childhood Halloween Memory represented in a cupcake, it will be exciting to watch them compete to win amazing prizes.
In addition to Montreal’s Best cupcake the event will also determine Montreal’s Best Looking, Montreal’s Finest Tasting, Montreal’s Funkiest and of course the People’s Choice. Some of the battling cupcake makers include: Sweet Isabelle, Farine & Chocolat, Mille et un cupcakes, Crème FraÎche, Marie Petite, Simply Sweet, Cupcake S.V.P., La Petite Cupcakerie, L’Échoppe Gourmande, My Sweet Minis, minimini Dessert, Gâteaux Maliniak, Exquis minis, Anatomie d’un cupcake, Gâteaux Duchesse, Tentation Cupcakes and more.
For those with allergen problems, they'll want to check out Délicieux sans gluten and of course Montreal’s 2012 Best Cupcake winner Leece Designs will be back to defend her title! Bring your friends, family or co-workers out for the chance to sample cupcakes, have a coffee supplied by Cafe Brossard, be entertained, win door prizes and support local charities who share the common goal of helping kids smile. Tickets are $25.00 (available online or at the door) and include admission to the Cupcake Challenge, one coffee or bottle of water, 6 mini cupcakes of your choice, entry into the Cake Show expo showfloor, eligibility for door prizes, a ballot for People’s Choice Award and access to all the entertainment and fun.
