New Baking Cookbook: Quick Shop and Prep 5 Ingredient Baking

If you are new to baking or enjoy a new challenge, I highly recommend Jennifer McHenry's cookbook, Quick Shop and Prep 5 Ingredient Baking: Cookies, Cakes, Bars & More That Are Easier Than Ever to Make. Jennifer started her blog, Bake or Break in 2006. She baked her way from sharing other people's recipes to developing her own. Her book is a great way for a beginning or advanced baker to make the best and sweetest use of a simple baker's pantry and incorporating a few extra ingredients to bake something special. It's a cookbook that gives you recipes that you can do on whim if your pantry is already stocked with the basics of flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder and your fridge has eggs, milk or buttermilk. Being partial to cupcakes, I  especially like the recipe for Iced Oatmeal Cupcakes.
