I am always disappointed that more New York City bakeries don't take after Chicago's and offer their cupcakes in regular and mini sizes, but Tu-Lu's Gluten Free Bakery does and I'm appreciative. Yesterday, a day in which I visited four cupcake bakeries and could've really used a running club (ha!), I got a mini rocky road cupcake, the special of the week, at Tu-Lu's. It had actual peanuts as well as very sweet, smooth, creamy peanut butter frosting. The peanuts gave it a little extra texture and the mini was more than enough. Here's the official description since I couldn't remember everything that was on it: "Caramel Buttercream on Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cake.
