Back in March 2006, we interviewed Daniellan Louie of Ivy Bakery, who delivers sweet treats all around Manhattan (and now Bay Ridge). In happy news, she's about to open a storefront in Brookyn and you're all welcome to celebrate with her and get some free desserts! We'll be there too (more on timing as it gets closer) and would love to see some of you. Then the following weekend, on Saturday, May 5th, we're heading back to Brooklyn for our Cupcake Meetup at Two Little Red Hens at 2 pm. "Cupcake lovers are invited to meet, eat, greet and be sweet." It's finally here! The GRAND OPENING of Ivy Bakery the store. You and all your friends, family, co-workers are invited to come join Daniellan for a day of celebration, pictures, and complimentary sweets.
EVENT INFO:
Where? 278 87th St (3rd Ave) Brooklyn
How do I get there? Hop on the R (downtown) to 86th St
How do I get there faster? Hope on the D to 36th or the N to 59th then swtich to the R to 86th.
How do I get there by car? Click Here
I'm in Manhattan, how long will it take? About 15 minutes by car (parking is hard to find) and 30-45 minutes by train from the downtown area.
When? SATURDAY APRIL 28th, the bakery is very small, so this is an outdoor event.
Weather? Yesterday it said shine today it says rain, let's hope for shine.
If it Rains? We will be open, however the Grand Opening celebration will be moved to the first sunny day. We will send you an updated e-mail.
Time? 10am-5pm, our regular hours starting Sunday will be 7am-9pm, delivery is from 10am-6pm, we will be open 7 days a week.
Can't make it? Come by any other day, we still want to see you.
Live out of the area? No worries, celebrate with a special Early Mother's Day Special, take 15% off your Mother's Day order.
We ship anywhere in the U.S. This offer is open to everyone and all orders must be placed before April 30th. Mother's Day is May 10th.
What can you expect? We will be offering an assortment of sweets and beverages for sale and also complimentary sweets for sampling.
Bring a smile, there will be lots of picture taking.
