It’s a giant sprinkle. If your cupcakes taste good you should have nothing to worry about. Also - like I said - IT”S A GIANT SPRINKLE. I mean I know we live in a day and age where branding is super important, but when it comes down to it, the people that would mix the two companies up aren’t coming to shop for your name anyways, they’re probably coming because they want some cake and you’re nearby.
But I digress. What we should really be talking about is how people pay upwards of 4 dollars for a little piece of cake with a giant sprinkle on it.. Seems super silly to me.
I say, bake your own cupcakes and put whatever design on it that you like.
Also, this report from Associated Content (which also alerted me to the above post) is the first I'm hearing about it, but you might want to beware of a virus associated with a Famous Cupcakes video:
Other sources are taking advantage of the Sprinkle Cupcake vs. Famous Cupcakes Lawsuits. Some websites have a video about Famous Cupcakes listed on their website. These websites are taking advantage of the fact that the public is interested in the lawsuit filed by Sprinkles cupcakes. Astonished web users will be stunned when instead of a Famous Cupcake video installing, there computer downloads a virus and Spyware disguised as a program which is supposed to allow you to see the video.
My Computer Downloaded a Virus from Famous Cupcakes Video
Curious, I did a web search for "Famous Cupcakes". After clicking onto one of the websites, I clicked continue when the website wanted to download software to "get the video to work" and "install components Windows needed to view the video". After I clicked continue, I realized one second too late that this was a bad idea. The website I visited had already begun installing a virus and Spyware onto my computer.
