The Breakfast Club cupcakes

I was running around all day yesterday so just now got a chance to see the AMAZING cupcakes based on The Breakfast Club that Daniellan Louie of Brooklyn's Ivy Bakery made. Tomorrow, according to her Twitter account, she is making and selling Twilight cupcakes.

Back in 2006, when Ivy Bakery was a very different operation, I interviewed Daniellan. That was when she was doing custom cupcakes and other desserts and delivery. Note to budding entrepreneurs: to promote her business, she offered free treats deliveries and won over many potential customers! I think it's time to do another interview about her movie-inspired cupcake series.

And before you ask, yes, I have seen The Breakfast Club, but it's been a while. Too long, apparently, as some of these details had escaped my memory. Kudos to Daniellan and Ivy Bakery for such fun, creative cupcakes. What movie would you like to see her do next?
