Updated - If we updated, it'll be at the top of this post.
This is our first post about bakeries selling cupcakes and doing charity events to help victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti culled from our inbox, Twitter and Facebook. If you're also doing something cupcake-related, since this is a time sensitive issue, just leave it in the comments or write to us at cupcakestakethecake at gmail.com - there are obviously numerous relief charities out there, but this being a cupcake blog, we are highlighting the connection between cupcakes and these charity efforts. Time permitting, we will do another post but I wanted to get this one up while these offers are still relevant. And a remind: we moderate ALL comments, so please only post yours once. If it's about cupcakes and Haiti (on this post), it will get approved.

If you are in Kansas City and would like to contribute directly to Mercy Corps with a credit card or paypal AND snag cupcakes, please do. I'll take your word for it that you contributed via the web and deliver your cupcakes. Or you can give me a check written to Mercy Corps or cash when your cupcakes are delivered.
