Easy Easy Cake Pops For Parties
Cake pops run the gamut these days, from haute cuisine cake truffles to edible party favors. I spotted this recipe from Foodie Wannabe who uses pound cake as the base for her cake pops.

Schoolhouse Rocks "I'm a Bill" cupcake for 4th of July
Check out this amazing creation by Sweetology paying tribute to one of her favorite 80's TV shows, Schoolhouse Rock and tying it in to July 4th with the help of some fondant! From the post:
This was super EASY..I just wrapped up a rectangle piece of white fondant as a scroll for "Bill" and then used Edible Food Writers on White Fondant for the saying, "I am Just a Bill". The tassel on Bill is twizzler adhered with a little corn syrup!! The frosting is red buttercream (mycakeschool.com recipe of course...) and piped with a Wilton 1M!!

PJ's Baby Cakes in Lincoln, Nebraska, has created these cute July 4th cupcakes, showing their love of the red, white and blue with squiggles on their Madison cupcake!

What's the Madison? I'll tell you, via their website: "The Madison – Named after the street where our store is located, we’ve taken our moist dark chocolate cake and filled with vanilla buttercream, topped it with a chocolate ganache topping and finished it with a vanilla buttercream “curly-q” design. Our delicious take on the famous cupcake it’s inspired by."

Yoga fans, check out these amazing yoga cupcakes by It's My Treat by Janice in Charlotte, North Carolina, who can be reached at itsmytreatbyjanice at gmail.com as well as on Facebook and her blog, where you can read more about this order. They were made for Be Yoga Charlotte, incorporating their logo (left side of the top photo), using fondant. Via Flickr.
