That's right, even MORE bacon-cupcake madness!

Cupcakes Take the Cake is known, at this point, for its ongoing coverage of the Bacon Cupcake Craze of 2008. Here's another iteration, courtesy Flickr user saeru, who notes that the cupcake is "maple cake batter made with bacon oil an[d] bits of bacon; frosting made with bacon oil; topped with bits of bacon."

hi- this is saeru. these cupcakes were made for a friend's birthday because he likes bacon.

i'd just like to note that the cake was actually tasty but the frosting was horrible ^_^;

i love crazy flavored cupcakes! i was at a party this past week at the famous experimental cocktail club in paris and there were CUCUMBER!! flavored cupcakes.

the bakery is called cup and cake (www.cupandcake.fr) and theyve been catering all these awesome events in paris. so glad the cult of the cupcake has finally come to france--ive been dying over here without them.
